Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in software engineering (proficient in Python, TypeScript, or comparable languages)
- Practical experience with large language models (LLMs) and AI coding tools in live production settings
- Proven track record in developing internal developer tools and automation systems
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and cloud infrastructure
- Strong foundation in platform and infrastructure engineering
- Experience with agent-based workflows or AI automation pipelines
- Awareness of AI security risks along with strategies for mitigation
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Capability to articulate technical impacts in business language
Preferred:
- Familiarity with MCP servers or analogous AI service architectures
- Experience in security or compliance areas
- Proven experience in disseminating technical best practices both internally and externally
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain internal AI tools and infrastructure to enhance engineering efficiency
- Design CI/CD workflows that leverage AI for code reviews, testing, refactoring, and issue remediation
- Establish AI-driven development standards and repository patterns to facilitate team adoption of workflows
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and monitoring of AI systems utilized by engineering teams
- Implement secure AI integrations while enforcing safeguards to eliminate data risk, unsafe executions, and misuse
- Create automated processes, including ticket-to-PR pipelines and AI-assisted testing and quality controls
- Monitor and assess adoption and impact metrics, such as delivery speed, code quality, and developer productivity
- Provide training and support to engineers through documentation, workshops, and practical coaching
- Analyze emerging AI tools and guide on build-vs-buy decisions based on practicality
- Collaborate with engineering leadership, platform teams, and security stakeholders to maintain alignment
