Requirements
Must:
- 4+ years of experience with Adobe AEM 6.5/AEM 6.5 LTS
- Significant background as a software developer and senior technical design expert
- In-depth knowledge of OSGi: Declarative Services, lifecycle management with @Component/@Reference, bundle deployment, and Felix console debugging
- Extensive hands-on experience with Apache Sling (Models, Servlets, ResourceResolver) and JCR repository tasks (JCR-SQL2 queries, event listeners, replication handlers)
- Strong front-end architecture proficiency: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, and Ant Design
- Advanced understanding of AEM architecture, Apache Sling, OSGi Declarative Services, and Java 8+ (with a readiness to embrace Java 21)
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka for creating event-driven architecture (managing consumers, producers, and DLQ handling)
- Robust front-end capabilities: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, Webpack, and component library integration (Ant Design)
- Experience configuring AEM Dispatcher, caching strategies, and cache invalidation mechanisms
- Knowledge of REST APIs, caching techniques, message queues, and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Maven builds, and CRX Package Manager deployment
- Proven experience delivering critical systems within a structured Agile environment
- History of leading remote engineering teams
- Strong technical problem-solving skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies
- Exceptional communication abilities in both verbal and written form
- Strong sense of accountability and a proven history of driving projects to completion
- Ownership mindset, ensuring that delivery responsibilities are managed personally
- Solid experience collaborating with offshore teams and successfully driving tasks to completion across distributed teams
- Competence in scope control and management
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and support of AEM components, integrations, and applications on AEM 6.5 LTS
- Create and maintain event-driven integrations utilizing Apache Kafka
- Develop and sustain Apache Solr integrations for search indexing and content discovery
- Configure and enhance AEM Dispatcher caching strategies, invalidation patterns, and dual-flush systems
- Integrate Adobe Target, Analytics, and additional marketing tools for enhanced personalization and data measurement
- Construct and maintain REST APIs for AEM integrations
- Utilize Webpack build tooling, implement caching strategies, manage message queues, and work with NoSQL databases
- Oversee CI/CD pipeline management through Jenkins, Maven-based builds, CRX Package Manager, and Nexus artifact management
