Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency in C# programming or readiness to transition from another C-based modern language (such as Java, Python, or Rust).
- Enthusiasm for creating and integrating IoT solutions on Azure or AWS platforms, including hobbyist experience.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit elements, power systems fundamentals, control system architecture, and signal processing.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems and low-level hardware programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Willingness to work both in-office and remotely, with a flexible schedule that requires 50% of the time in-office for teamwork and hands-on tasks.
Responsibilities
- Design and sustain software for industrial electrical systems utilizing the latest C# programming.
- Cooperate with electrical engineers to formulate and execute control algorithms and system logic.
- Connect software with hardware components to ensure flawless operation and communication between devices through multithreaded asynchronous systems.
- Conduct system testing and debugging to validate software reliability and performance.
- Create and uphold software development processes, coding standards, and system configurations.
- Engage in design reviews, code evaluations, and project planning meetings.
- Identify and rectify software issues in existing systems.
- Remain informed about industry trends and innovations in industrial control systems and contemporary software development practices.
