Requirements
Must:
- 4–7 years of experience in solution architecture, data engineering, systems integration, or similar roles.
- In-depth knowledge of eCommerce ecosystems and data flow between CRM, CDP, ERP, OMS, PIM, tagging/analytics, and marketing platforms.
- Proven experience in developing or supporting API integrations and event-driven workflows.
- Proficient in data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data infrastructure.
- Familiarity with digital tagging, analytics measurement, and customer data capture.
- Strong skills in technical documentation, communication, and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Preferred: Experience in large-scale digital commerce or replatforming initiatives.
- Preferred: Exposure to headless or composable commerce concepts.
- Preferred: Some understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud-based integration tooling.
- Preferred: Knowledge of data privacy and compliance considerations (GDPR, CCPA).
- Preferred: Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Support the definition of system and data integration architecture for eCommerce platforms and enterprise systems.
- Assist in creating solution design documents, data flow diagrams, interface specifications, and integration standards.
- Collaborate with senior architects to assess design options and ensure alignment with the platforms strategic goals.
- Help design and implement data pipelines for analytics, customer data, product information, inventory, and orders.
- Configure and sustain integration patterns including APIs, streaming, webhooks, batch jobs, and middleware workflows.
- Participate in constructing data models, schemas, and event structures for digital commerce operations.
- Contribute to maintaining data quality, monitoring, governance, and synchronization across systems.
- Aid in designing and implementing data visualization using BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
- Work with engineering teams to convert integration requirements into technical tasks.
- Support testing, debugging, and validation of integrations across both upstream and downstream systems.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Ensure that solutions meet criteria for security, reliability, observability, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, analytics teams, marketing, operations, and customer experience teams to clarify data integration needs.
