Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering, or possess an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- I typically have 5 years of experience in product management or a related field.
- My background spans at least three disciplines, such as business, technology, application development, or operations in a multi-tier environment (preferred).
- I can independently engage in requirement gathering, document preparation, end-to-end solution design, functional specification preparation, realization, and deployment.
- I collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business SMEs, architects, developers, and vendor consultants, to analyze current processes and recommend enhancements.
- I can identify, recommend, and execute complex configuration solutions while managing full-cycle configuration to meet business requirements, as well as creating and updating related documentation.
- I actively participate in project delivery during demo and rollout phases and lead root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- I possess experience with SAP Solution Manager, with a total of 12-16 years of overall SAP experience in asset-intensive and manufacturing environments, including 8 years in SAP MM/Procurement.
- I have hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA and FIORI.
- I possess a strong understanding of Indirect & Direct Procurement, inter-company purchases, stock transfer orders, and invoicing processes.
- My communication and interpersonal skills are exceptional.
- I have comprehensive knowledge in Materials Management & Purchasing, along with a solid understanding of SAP Ariba and SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration.
- I have integration experience with SAP and non-SAP external systems (supplier collaboration, invoicing, etc.) and internal legacy systems.
- I have detailed knowledge of supply chain business models, SAP Procure to Pay, and experience with Fiori UI.
- I am familiar with purchasing integration with other SAP modules.
- Certifications in SAP MM or S/4 HANA are advantageous.
- I have knowledge and experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development techniques.
Responsibilities
As the Sr. Principal of Product Management, I will:
- Define, communicate, and advocate for the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a value stream in alignment with KDP's priorities.
- Oversee multiple products or new product developments within the procurement workstream and manage the product release schedule.
- Ensure a customer-centric approach by advocating for user needs to Product/Platform Owners and facilitating their translation into development requirements.
- Manage the product throughout its lifecycle, monitor performance metrics and related outcomes, and collect customer/client feedback to enhance the product.
- Serve as the lead for the product, providing updates and performance metrics to relevant teams, leadership, and clients/customers.
- Collaborate with Initiative and Epic owners to develop business cases and gather essential data for new products and improvements, championing the investments necessary to achieve the vision.
- Analyze market and competitive data to develop or refine product features that satisfy customer needs and align with market and industry standards.
