Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of experience in ETL, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytics
- 5+ years in managing Big Data systems, pipelines, and processing
- In-depth knowledge of data architecture, modeling, and Big Data processing
- Proficiency with ML/AI operations using GCP and Snowflake along with other emerging technologies
- Proven track record in leading and developing data engineering teams
- Expertise in API integration and the design of SQL-compatible pipelines
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance practices
- Strong grasp of visualization best practices for multi-modal interfaces (e.g., PowerBI, UIs, AI for BI)
- Familiarity with Large Language Model (LLM) foundations and architecture (preferred)
- Exceptional communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and marketing sectors (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and lead a high-performing data engineering team, including both managers and junior staff
- Design and uphold secure and efficient ML/AI ecosystems leveraging GCP and Snowflake
- Implement data maturity frameworks (ranging from Bronze to Silver to Gold) in a marketing-owned data lake in collaboration with enterprise data architects
- Collaborate with business executives, product managers, and data scientists to deliver impactful data-driven solutions
- Drive innovations across various analytics types (descriptive to predictive) and advance insights extraction techniques
- Work alongside Data Governance to establish and enforce best practices for data integrity, regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and security
- Ensure effective DevOps practices for code development and deployment
- Create data models and architectures for analytics and reporting
- Develop dynamic and user-friendly decision-support tools and visualizations using PowerBI
- Translate business needs into engineering specifications while fostering clear communication between technical and business teams
- Automate ad-hoc data requirements progressively over time
