Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Over 6 years of experience leading Salesforce delivery teams within federal or enterprise settings
- Proven history in managing Salesforce Operations & Maintenance programs
- Strong grasp of Salesforce architecture, DevOps, and release management methodologies
- Experience overseeing Agile Scrum teams in a program leadership role
- Familiarity with executive stakeholder communication and governance reporting
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams including developers, administrators, testers, and business analysts
- Experience in compliance-driven federal environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Advanced Scrum Master Certification (e.g., A-CSM, CSP-SM, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master) or Salesforce Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect certification
- Must possess an active Public Trust clearance or be eligible to obtain one before starting the position.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight for Salesforce Operations & Maintenance and enhancement teams that support ITA mission systems
- Lead sprint governance, backlog prioritization alignment, and release planning in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders
- Ensure stability and performance optimization of the platform while proactively mitigating risks
- Supervise DevOps maturity including CI/CD practices, deployment governance, and release discipline
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex platform issues and architectural decisions
- Establish and enforce development standards, reusable practices, and security protocols
- Generate executive-level reports on program health, roadmap execution, risks, and resource management
- Guide agile ceremonies ensuring adherence to Scrum best practices across teams
- Coordinate integration strategies among Salesforce, middleware, and external federal systems
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives across operations, incident management, and enhancement workflows
- Support potential expansion into additional DOC Salesforce programs as the portfolio evolves
- Mentor technical leads and scrum masters to guarantee consistent delivery and accountability for performance.
