Customer Service Engineer - VA ESOM - Columbia

- Provide support in the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of computer systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction. - Deliver both remote and in-person technical assistance by responding to IT support tickets and performing diagnostics and repairs on hardware and software. - Assist in setting up and managing user accounts, interfacing with other software applications, generating reports, and addressing customer inquiries. - Help maintain Active Directory and other system accounts, as well as support connectivity and client applications, including local and wide area network services. - Monitor active tickets in the VAs ServiceNow incident ticketing system to ensure compliance with business processes, reporting any discrepancies with corrective action proposals for approval. - Navigate a work environment that includes both sedentary and active tasks, managing electronic components safely to prevent injury or damage. - Apply debugging protocols to troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported issues effectively. - Oversee the return, deployment, unboxing, inventorying, and verification of equipment. - Meet physical capabilities for tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and maneuvering through various facility spaces. - Maintain mobility throughout the work area for extended periods.
