Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical field, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Technical Support, Help Desk, or System Administration. - Ability to meet the physical demands outlined in the job description. - Experience in performing routine systems administration tasks and maintaining system logs. - Familiarity with various debugging protocols and processes. - Knowledge of IT principles, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a basic understanding of Windows system administration.

Responsibilities

- Provide assistance to the Government in installing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting computer systems and equipment for optimal user experience. - Deliver both remote and desk-side technical support, manage IT support tickets, and conduct diagnostic and repair tasks for hardware and software. - Help set up and manage user accounts, interface with software applications, compile reports, and respond to customer inquiries. - Maintain Active Directory and other system accounts, support network connectivity, and assist in local and wide-area network services. - Monitor open tickets in the VAs ServiceNow incident ticketing system, ensuring adherence to processes and reporting discrepancies with proposed corrections. - Engage in both sedentary and active tasks while adhering to safety protocols to safely handle electronic components. - Implement debugging protocols effectively. - Troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported issues promptly. - Oversee the process for equipment returns, deployments, unboxing, inventory, and verification. - Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting equipment up to 50 pounds and navigating facility spaces. - Remain mobile within the work area for extended durations.
