Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
- Over 7 years of experience in information and cloud security, focusing on creating and executing secure cloud computing environments
- Extensive knowledge in Azure cloud security, including practical experience with tools like Azure Security Center and Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Comprehensive understanding of API security principles such as OAuth, OpenID, REST, SOAP, and GraphQL with the capability to establish secure API design patterns and promote best practices
- Proficient in at least one scripting language, including but not limited to Python, PowerShell, or Bash
Responsibilities
- Assess proposed systems, networks, and software designs for potential security vulnerabilities
- Suggest safeguards and resolve integration challenges to guarantee secure implementation within the current infrastructure
- Create, oversee, and articulate a thorough enterprise-wide security strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs
- Conduct cybersecurity risk evaluations, spearhead mitigation initiatives, manage incident response planning, and work with diverse teams to support secure design choices throughout the organization
