Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 2 to 6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing and some exposure to automation
- Familiarity with defect identification software
- Understanding of software testing processes and methodologies
- Nice to have: Experience with Python and/or LabVIEW for developing automated tests
- Nice to have: Background in embedded systems testing
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Strong team-oriented attitude with excellent collaboration skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Dedication to maintaining high quality standards
Responsibilities
- Conduct software testing for electromechanical medical devices
- Analyze requirements and generate test cases for software verification and validation
- Execute manual testing including dry runs, smoke tests, and integration tests, while detecting defects
- Create and uphold automated test cases as required
- Work closely with software developers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality
- Document test reports comprehensively
