Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server technologies
- Experience with Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office365 and Google Apps/G Suite
- Proficient in setting up and troubleshooting networking hardware (firewalls, VPNs, wireless, etc.)
- Experience with Windows Server roles from 2008 to 2022
- Comprehensive understanding of client/server application architecture
- Knowledgeable in advanced networking, including VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, etc.
- Experience with Mac and/or Linux environments
- Must be available for full-time work
- Professional demeanor and highly dependable
- Outgoing personality with strong customer support capabilities
- Ability to multitask and maintain focus
- Skilled in resolving complex technical issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented documentation and technical settings management
- Flexible schedule to accommodate after-hours or weekend work
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and access tight spaces
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site IT support to small and medium-sized businesses
- Install, troubleshoot, and manage Microsoft products (Windows 11, MS Office application suite) and Macs
- Resolve email-related issues
- Coordinate and execute network software and hardware upgrades
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls
- Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN performance and connectivity issues
- Administer LAN/WAN security, antivirus, and spam prevention measures
- Handle network cabling and troubleshooting tasks
- Perform additional duties as needed
