Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Linux systems (preferably Red Hat)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- Practical VoIP experience
- Solid knowledge of SIP
- Ability to analyze Wireshark traces
- Proficiency in Linux command line for log gathering and analysis
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical issues clearly
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
- Nice to have: Linux scripting skills
- Basic knowledge of PHP
- Understanding of the Diameter protocol
- Experience with VMware vSphere
- Fundamental knowledge of Cisco IOS
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting intricate issues within Linux-based production systems
- Implementing patches, fixes, and system upgrades
- Creating detailed Method of Procedure (MOP) documents for production alterations
- Collaborating with customer engineering teams to assess requirements and resolve issues
- Analyzing logs and traces, documenting bugs for development teams
- Supporting system maintenance windows, upgrades, and patches
- Offering high-level technical insights during meetings and collaborative sessions
