Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in supporting Linux systems (preferably Red Hat)
- Proficient in command-line Linux operations within production settings
- Strong understanding of networking principles
- Practical experience in troubleshooting SIP and VoIP
- Capability to elucidate and troubleshoot SIP call flows
- Experience with packet analysis using Wireshark
- Skilled in collecting and analyzing logs via Linux CLI
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Resolve issues in production Linux systems supporting telecom applications
- Identify and troubleshoot SIP, VoIP, network, and operating system issues
- Analyze Wireshark captures, SIP logs, and system logs
- Implement fixes, patches, and updates during maintenance periods
- Draft Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for changes in production
- Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams on ongoing issues
- Report bugs to development teams with comprehensive logs and traces
- Provide support for platforms operating in VMware environments
