Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in troubleshooting Linux environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
- Comfortable with command-line interfaces for services, processes, logs, and networking
- Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, ports, routing, firewalls)
- Familiar with SIP/VoIP technologies, including call flows, signaling, and RTP
- Proven experience managing production systems under pressure
- Skilled in analyzing packet captures and logs (using Wireshark/tcpdump)
- Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with customers and engineers

- Experience with Linux scripting (bash, shell)
- Knowledge of VMware or virtualized infrastructures
- Understanding of change management processes and maintenance schedules
- Background in telecom or real-time communication systems
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve live production challenges within Linux OS, applications, and networking
- Directly troubleshoot issues through the Linux command line (services, logs, ports, routes)
- Examine logs, traces, and packet captures to determine root causes
- Implement fixes, patches, and updates during scheduled maintenance periods
- Draft clear Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for production modifications
- Collaborate closely with customer engineering and internal development teams
- Reproduce problems and deliver actionable insights to engineering teams
- Engage in an on-call rotation for high-availability systems support
