Technical Writer and Trainer Lead

- Coordinate sanitation operations to fulfill quality, food safety, regulatory, cost, and safety goals - Enforce good manufacturing practices (GMPs), food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and company policies - Prepare for inspections from state, federal, customers, and third parties - Execute sanitation validation via visual inspections, ATP testing, microbial assessments, and allergen checks - Ensure proper chemical application and concentration during sanitation tasks - Minimize downtime linked to sanitation activities and pre-operational checks - Create, review, and preserve precise sanitation documentation and records - Draft, revise, and validate Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs) for equipment and facility cleaning - Assist in disassembly, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembly of processing equipment and associated areas - Communicate sanitation issues, risks, or concerns with management and assist in resolutions - Properly utilize and instruct others on personal protective equipment (PPE) for chemical handling - Oversee chemical inventory and relocate chemicals around the facility as necessary - Carry out sanitation-related special projects as needed - Delegate and prioritize daily sanitation tasks for the sanitation team - Collaborate with sanitation leadership to align on objectives, direction, and key performance indicators (KPIs) - Instruct sanitation associates on SSOPs, documentation, sanitation methods, and chemical safety - Influence and guide cross-functional teams in supporting sanitation and food safety initiatives
