Technical Writer & Trainer - KanPak

- Coordinate sanitation operations to achieve quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, cost, and safety goals - Enforce GMPs, food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and company guidelines - Facilitate preparation for state, federal, customer, and third-party audits - Conduct sanitation validation via visual inspections, ATP testing, microbial testing, and allergen checks - Ensure appropriate chemical usage and concentrations for all sanitation tasks - Minimize downtime related to sanitation processes or pre-operational checks - Complete, review, and maintain precise sanitation records and documentation - Develop, update, and validate SSOPs for equipment and facility cleanliness - Assist in the disassembly, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembly of processing equipment and relevant areas - Communicate sanitation challenges, risks, or issues with management and assist in addressing these - Properly employ and instruct others on PPE for chemical handling - Monitor chemical inventory and reposition chemicals within the facility as required - Undertake sanitation-related special tasks as necessary - Delegate and prioritize daily sanitation assignments for the team - Collaborate with sanitation leadership on goals, direction, and performance metrics - Train sanitation staff on SSOPs, documentation processes, sanitation protocols, and chemical safety practices - Mentor and guide cross-functional teams to enhance sanitation and food safety initiatives
