Requirements

Must:
- Adherence to Kaiser Permanente Policies and Procedures, as well as relevant state, federal, and local laws. - Strong customer service skills, including greeting and guiding members. - Experience in providing reception services and wayfinding to patients. - Ability to coordinate services for members regarding benefits and finance using available technologies. - Proficient in verifying patient appointments and insurance coverage. - Knowledge of maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy guidelines. - Flexibility in addressing diverse member concerns and service requests. - Competence in scheduling appointments and follow-ups using Kaiser Permanentes systems. - Attention to detail in managing schedules, confirming appointments, and updating patient information. - Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone. - Capability to handle clerical tasks and assist with patient education as needed. - Experience with cash handling procedures as per established guidelines.

- Serve as the primary contact for Kaiser Permanente members, assisting with the registration and check-in process. - Provide guidance and navigation support to members and patients within the medical center. - Coordinate and address member needs related to services using available technology. - Verify appointments and insurance coverage while assisting members during their visit. - Educate patients on using Kaiser Permanente interactive technologies. - Maintain efficient scheduling of appointments and follow-ups, ensuring accuracy. - Communicate with patients regarding their benefits and any financial responsibilities. - Direct patients to appropriate waiting areas and confirm appointment details. - Answer incoming calls, relay messages, and provide general informational support. - Complete and distribute various forms and materials, along with statistical reports as required. - Assist in orienting new staff members as needed. - Foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
