Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in data management using SAS, SQL, R, or a similar analytical programming language.
- At least five (5) years of programming experience with SAS, SQL, R, or other comparable analytical programming languages.
- One (1) year of experience in a leadership position, with or without direct reports.
- A Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or a related field, along with five (5) years of experience in data analytics or a directly relevant field. Equivalent additional work experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Preferred: Three (3) years of programming experience in SQL.
- Preferred: Three (3) years of experience working with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Preferred: Experience in data extraction and manipulation languages, relational databases, and delivering presentations to management.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex SQL-based reporting, analytics, and automation solutions using Databricks and Python.
- Support enterprise-scale production reporting through a diverse portfolio of scheduled reports, dashboards, and database objects.
- Develop and optimize advanced SQL logic independently, troubleshooting complex data and reporting challenges.
- Enhance data workflows and analytical reporting with precision and meticulous attention to detail.
- Oversee all phases of data management and quality control for projects.
- Program in various analytical languages (including SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, and Python) for multi-programmer initiatives.
- Create automated reporting and data loading solutions, ensuring consistency across projects.
- Design quality checking and validation processes for data integration and reporting solutions.
- Interpret data analyses and present findings to stakeholders to influence decision-making.
- Collaborate with clients to identify and clarify business needs and develop analytical plans.
