Requirements
Must:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with project implementations using development life cycles (e.g., SDLC)
- At least one (1) year in a technical leadership position, whether with direct reports or not
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field with a minimum of six (6) years experience in software development or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
- Hands-on expertise with NodeJS, KoaJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, and deploying services on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Proficient in using GitHub, GitHub Actions (GHA), and VS Code
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and adaptive programming practices
- Familiarity with event-driven platforms and data systems, including EventHub, ADLS, and Cosmos DB
- Experience in building extensible, maintainable applications
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Karate and Jest
- Experience working across multiple programming languages like Java and Python is a plus
Responsibilities
- Execute work assignments and assist on business-specific projects by utilizing expertise in the subject area
- Support the establishment of work plans to align with business priorities and timelines
- Ensure adherence to procedures and policies within the team
- Coordinate and allocate resources to meet deadlines effectively
- Collaborate across functions to facilitate effective business decisions and address complex challenges
- Mentor others by sharing resources, providing insights, and promoting self-development
- Leverage both Waterfall and Agile methodologies to design and deliver high-quality software solutions
- Translate business needs into functional specifications through collaboration with Business Analysts
- Conduct systems incident support and troubleshoot both complex and simpler issues
- Facilitate component integration testing (CIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for application initiatives
- Build and sustain relationships with internal customers and vendors for project alignment and support
- Validate technical specifications and documentation for accuracy
- Collaborate with architects to create scalable and maintainable software designs
- Provide triage and support post-implementation to ensure business software solutions function effectively
- Develop unit tests to identify issues and ensure compliance with functional specifications
- Maintain technical documentation for software solutions and their development processes
- Foster partnerships with IT teams to maintain adherence to architectural standards
- Lead the mentoring and training of technical staff on software application development
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle and assist in project estimation throughout the process
- Stay informed on database concepts and ensure integrity, security, and retrievability of information
