Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, or a related field
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a similar role; equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirement
- Two (2) years of experience in software or system testing across various IT environments (preferred)
- Two (2) years of software or application development experience (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with software development life cycle
- Proven ability to manage complex problems and accumulate relevant business knowledge
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of business process improvement and client focus
- Experience in project management and technical documentation
Responsibilities
- Provide customer support for assigned applications and information systems, including software implementation, integration, configuration, and testing
- Contribute to solution design and translate requirements into effective technical solutions
- Assess vendor capabilities as required and participate in evaluations
- Develop and document comprehensive business cases to assess ROI and costs of proposed solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to tackle complex decisions and identify improvement opportunities
- Proactively offer resources, advice, and expertise to support self-development and team learning
- Interface with stakeholders and IT teams to develop requirements for complex systems
- Leverage methodologies like SMART to gather and identify business requirements
- Map and analyze current states versus desired future states for processes
- Provide insightful recommendations to enhance integration of requirements with existing systems
- Actively engage in continuous process improvement by maintaining standardized tools and templates
- Identify and validate opportunities for process enhancements or efficiencies
