Requirements

Must:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing security solutions, including at least two (2) years in leading the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and operation of security technologies. - At least two (2) years in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in an IT operations environment, with technical expertise in distributed technologies, systems development, and/or networking. - Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements. - Preferred: Six (6) years of experience in storage engineering and/or data backup engineering, particularly in data replication. - Preferred: Six (6) years of experience gathering and converting business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and conduct business-specific projects, applying deep expertise to ensure adherence to procedures and policies while meeting business priorities and deadlines. - Promote self-leadership and foster a culture of continuous learning through relationship-building with cross-functional stakeholders. - Utilize DEVOPS alongside both Waterfall and Agile methodologies to create resilient and secure multi-channel solutions. - Provide expert consultation regarding IT infrastructure planning, engineering, and architecture for assigned systems. - Assess systems designs and offer recommendations on options, risks, costs, and benefits. - Collaborate with IT teams and business partners to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. - Act as a functional expert, working closely with architects and software engineers to transform functional specifications into scalable designs. - Translate business and technical requirements into specifications that support sustainable, integrated infrastructure systems by partnering with Business Analysts. - Ensure compliance of system designs to company architecture standards. - Build strong relationships with various IT teams throughout the project lifecycle. - Serve as a technical expert to guide project teams during implementation and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure systems. - Mentor other technical resources during systems development. - Review and validate technical specifications for complex solutions. - Lead the development of technical solutions to address business challenges. - Engage with business leaders and enterprise architects to evaluate business drivers for systems planning. - Analyze benchmarking results to aid current and future infrastructure project needs. - Identify opportunities through IT trends and technologies that impact ROI. - Recommend resources needed to maintain service levels and meet evolving demands. - Spearhead physical architecture design for new initiatives.
