Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, or a related field
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a related field; equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirement
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer for 5+ years
- Strong skills in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with PySpark, Azure, and Databricks
- Two (2) years of experience in software or system testing across various IT environments (preferred)
- Two (2) years of software or application development experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance scalable data pipelines within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
- Transform raw data into actionable insights ensuring performance, reliability, and security
- Provide user support for applications and information systems, including software implementation and integration
- Develop work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines, coordinating resources effectively
- Collaborate across teams to resolve complex issues and escalate high-priority risks as needed
- Gather and document business requirements across multiple domains
- Create comprehensive business cases evaluating costs, benefits, and return on investment (ROI)
- Map current processes to desired future states and identify impacts of requirements on solutions
- Offer recommendations for integrating requirements with existing systems
- Participate in the evaluation of third-party vendors as directed
- Support continuous improvement by developing standardized tools and processes across domains
