Requirements

Must:
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working on projects that involve the implementation of solutions utilizing development life cycles (e.g., SDLC). - At least two (2) years in a technical leadership capacity, with or without direct reports. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, along with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in software development or a related area. Equivalent work experience may be considered as a substitute for the degree requirement. - Proficiency in SAS, Python, R, Databricks, GitHub, SQL, SharePoint, and PowerBI. - Comfort with engaging directly with customers.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage business-specific projects by leveraging deep subject matter expertise, ensuring adherence to established procedures, and developing strategic work plans. - Enhance team performance by fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, conveying essential information, and facilitating communication to expedite project progress. - Utilize both DEVOPS and methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile to design, develop, and deliver robust, secure, and scalable technology solutions. - Translate business needs and functional specifications into comprehensive program designs in collaboration with Business Analysts. - Serve as a technical consultant to project teams, guiding and supporting the development of software solutions throughout their release cycles. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients, third-party vendors, and senior leadership to align stakeholder interests. - Conduct thorough assessments and validations of technical specifications and documentation. - Lead efforts in systems incident support and troubleshooting, addressing both complex and straightforward issues as necessary. - Collaborate with architects and software consultants to ensure that functional requirements are transformed into maintainable design specifications. - Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to identify application errors and ensure compliance with functional specifications. - Mentor and guide junior team members to cultivate a capable technical workforce.
