Requirements
Must:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in project(s) involving solution implementation following development life cycles (e.g., SDLC)
- At least one (1) year of experience in a technical leadership position, with or without direct reports
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related domain, plus a minimum of six (6) years in software development or a relevant field; equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree
- Preferred: One (1) year of experience in a role necessitating interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above)
- Preferred: Three (3) years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and executing high-level designs for complex solutions
Responsibilities
- Execute work assignments and contribute to business-specific projects by utilizing expertise in the subject area, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines, and ensuring adherence to procedures and policies
- Cultivate self-development and foster a learning atmosphere among others by sharing information, resources, and expertise with colleagues and clients
- Utilize DEVOPS and both Waterfall and Agile methodologies to design and deliver secure, high-performance, multi-channel, on/off-premise, cloud-based solutions
- Provide recommendations and insights on technical solutions to fulfill design and functional requirements
- Transform business needs and functional specifications into practical software designs and stable application systems through collaboration with Business Analysts
- Identify necessary interfaces, methods, procedures, and functions to support technical solutions
- Lead incident support and troubleshooting efforts for both complex and simpler issues
- Facilitate component integration testing (CIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for application projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with internal customers and third-party vendors
- Validate and review technical documentation and specifications
- Collaborate with architects and software consultants to translate functional specifications into adaptable and maintainable solution designs
- Provide implementation and post-implementation support for business software solutions by enhancing new or existing systems
- Write and revise technical specifications and documentation as needed
- Ensure development of software solutions follows industry best practices and architectures
- Form partnerships with IT teams and vendors to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines and technical specifications
- Mentor and train other technical staff in software application development
- Design and modify integrated business and enterprise applications across various environments using programming languages
- Guide others through all phases of the software development lifecycle, sharing knowledge of methodologies and standards
- Assist in project estimation during the project lifecycle
- Maintain expert knowledge of database concepts and principles related to data modeling and architecture
- Ensure information security and accessibility, providing advice on information transformation when necessary
