Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in software development or a similar field
- One (1) year of development experience with Node.js (preferred)
- One (1) year of development experience with Oracle (preferred)
- Over three (3) years of experience as a Data Engineer (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with PySpark, Azure, and Databricks
- Proven track record in building ETL pipelines
Responsibilities
- Execute assignments by utilizing current knowledge in the field to meet deadlines
- Adhere to procedures and policies while managing data and resources for projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address business challenges
- Communicate progress and provide actionable insights for improvement
- Pursue personal development and cultivate effective relationships with colleagues and customers
- Apply DEVOPS, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies to develop high-quality software solutions
- Offer recommendations for technical solutions based on design and functional needs
- Provide systems support and troubleshooting for basic to moderate issues
- Collaborate with team members and architects to enhance solution designs
- Assist in translating business needs into software code and modules
- Participate in the implementation and ongoing support of software applications
- Conduct unit testing to identify and rectify application errors
- Support integration and user acceptance testing for application initiatives
- Write technical documentation and specifications
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices in software development
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to meet architectural standards
- Engage in software development lifecycle phases in accordance with company standards
