Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience with modeling techniques such as BPMN, UML, or ER.
- At least three (3) years of experience converting solution requirements into technical architecture requirements.
- A minimum of two (2) years in a technical leadership role, regardless of direct reports.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline, plus a minimum of eight (8) years in IT, including at least four (4) years on IT architecture projects. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Preferred: One (1) year of supervisory experience.
- Preferred: Two (2) years of experience interacting with senior leadership (e.g., at the Director level or above).
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead business-specific projects by applying extensive expertise in your area, ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
- Develop and implement work plans aligned with business priorities and deadlines while coordinating resources.
- Engage with team members and stakeholders to drive project progress and make informed business decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, providing advice and influencing team dynamics.
- Define and communicate architectural standards, guidelines, and direction for technology solutions.
- Collaborate with other architects to formulate target state architectures for large-scale, high-impact tech solutions.
- Lead the creation of architecture artifacts to support detailed design and implementation.
- Stay informed on new technologies by researching relevant industry trends and developments.
- Mentor junior team members and facilitate learning opportunities within the team.
- Prepare reports for executives and stakeholders, articulating the impacts of architectural practices.
