Requirements
Must:
- Strong programming fundamentals in Java and Python.
- Basic experience with Azure cloud technologies or other cloud platforms such as deploying applications or using serverless components.
- Understanding of AI concepts, including machine learning models and data processing.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version-control systems.
- Exposure to REST API development.
- Understanding of Containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes (Orchestration).
- Problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Pursuing a bachelors degree or have graduated with a bachelors degree from an accredited university within the last year.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing automation tools using Python or Java to enhance claims data processing and reduce manual effort.
- Design cloud-based workflows utilizing Azure Functions, Storage, and App Services for internal applications.
- Generate reporting and insights dashboards to help operations teams monitor claim status and processing metrics.
- Aid in modernization projects, including transitioning legacy components to cloud-native microservices with API integration for real-time processing.
- Contribute to a designated project or initiative to fulfill a Kaiser Permanente business objective.
