Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
- At least two (2) years of experience in project management.
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Biomedical, Clinical, Mechanical, Electrical), engineering technology, or a related field, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in engineering or a related field; OR a minimum of six (6) years of experience in engineering or a directly related field.
- One (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets (preferred).
- Three (3) years of experience working in a large matrixed organization (preferred).
- Two (2) years of experience in healthcare (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Implement healthcare technology strategies and plans by assessing needs and managing site planning for various healthcare delivery settings.
- Serve as a trusted consultant for clinical system deployment, assisting with incident investigations as required.
- Support clinical systems by providing expertise on equipment configurations and reviewing facility construction plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards by overseeing technical systems and coordinating responses to FDA alerts.
- Conduct moderately complex technical testing on clinical systems, documenting specifications and potential risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business projects, offering recommendations and problem-solving support.
- Research and stay updated on new healthcare technologies, sharing findings with relevant teams.
- Develop and manage technology plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance metrics.
