Chief Database Engineer (Oracle)

- Spearhead the execution of multiple work streams by identifying customer and operational requirements, developing and revising procedures and policies, and securing cross-functional support for objectives. - Convert business strategy into detailed business requirements and distribute resources as needed, while measuring progress and addressing performance challenges. - Foster a culture of self-leadership and continuous learning by seeking and acting on feedback; building collaborative relationships across functions; and facilitating open communication among team members. - Utilize DEVOPS, along with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, to design, develop, and deliver resilient, secure, high-volume, multi-channel cloud-based solutions. - Collaborate with various IT Teams throughout the development and implementation of systems. - Serve as a specialist in creating system designs that comply with company architecture standards. - Guide the writing, review, and validation of technical specifications and documentation. - Lead interactions with architects and software engineers to ensure that functional specifications are effectively translated into flexible and maintainable system designs. - Collaborate with IT teams and business partners to troubleshoot complex systems and offer solutions. - Modify and validate prototypes for system designs. - Provide expert advice on IT infrastructure planning, engineering, and architecture across multiple functional areas. - Recommend resources needed to maintain service levels based on expertise with existing systems. - Guide teams in developing project support plans, schedules, and assignments. - Partner with business leaders and architects to outline business drivers and communicate strategic roadmaps to the team. - Assist in converting business requirements into technical specifications that support integrated infrastructure designs. - Offer insights on options, risks, costs, and benefits concerning system designs. - Be a key collaborator throughout the implementation of enterprise infrastructure systems by defining detailed standards for service introduction and maintenance. - Support team members in estimating resource needs for technical design work.
