Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Biomedical, Clinical, Mechanical, Electrical), engineering technology, or a related field, coupled with at least one (1) year of experience in engineering or a direct counterpart
- Alternatively, a minimum of four (4) years of experience in engineering, engineering technology, or a directly related discipline
- One (1) year of experience in project management (preferred)
- One (1) year of managing operational or project budgets (preferred)
- One (1) year of experience in the healthcare sector (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture effective relationships by offering resources, information, guidance, and expertise to colleagues and associates
- Actively listen for performance feedback and mentor team members; engage in self-improvement by planning to leverage strengths and mitigate weaknesses
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve business challenges, while ensuring adherence to procedures and policies
- Consult with user groups and strategic partners to design equipment configurations and review construction plans
- Support compliance with government regulations, accreditation, and industry standards while assisting in the review of Hazard Alerts
- Troubleshoot and test clinical systems and technology, while documenting specifications and processes
- Conduct assessments and needs analyses to identify suitable healthcare technologies for implementation
- Monitor and evaluate new healthcare-related technologies, disseminating pertinent information within the team
- Manage technology plans to ensure strategies are implemented effectively with the focus on performance metrics such as budget and quality
