Requirements

Must:
- You should have more than 7 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, demonstrating a solid foundation in security architecture, cloud, and application security. - A strong understanding of cloud security frameworks such as AWS Well-Architected, CSA-CCM, and CIS Controls is essential. - Experience in safeguarding cloud-native applications, microservices, and container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker is required. - You must be knowledgeable in secure development practices, including OWASP Top 10 and SAST/DAST. - Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and tools including Terraform, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline is necessary. - Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, and key management will be expected. - Proficiency in scripting and automation languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell is important. - Experience with network and database security practices, including firewalls and secure architecture design for both relational and NoSQL databases, is needed. - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security and automation tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation is a must. - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is required. - Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security, or GIAC will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

- You will design and evaluate security measures across applications, cloud platforms (like AWS), and databases, ensuring secure and scalable solutions. - As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with DevSecOps, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to promote secure coding practices, threat modeling, CI/CD security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices. - You will conduct architecture assessments, penetration tests, and code reviews to proactively identify and mitigate security risks. - It will be your responsibility to define and implement data protection, network security, and cloud-native controls such as firewalls, web application firewalls (WAFs), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), DDoS defense, encryption, and monitoring. - You will establish company-wide security policies, standards, and frameworks aligned with best practices and compliance requirements (such as PCI-DSS, SOC 1/2, ISO 27001). - Monitoring emerging security threats, leading incident response initiatives, and sharing your expertise in forensics and remediation will be part of your role. - You will guide cross-functional teams, advocate for secure-by-design practices, and contribute to shaping the future of security at KUBRA.
