Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full stack development is required
- Proficiency in MongoDB/MySQL, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
- Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience in creating and building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, GitHub, or GitLab
- Knowledge of database schema design and query optimization techniques
- Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., JWT, OAuth2, SSO)
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright) is advantageous
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment methods is beneficial
- Experience with real-time communication technologies such as MQTT or web sockets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, necessary for the role
- Additional experience with Docker or Agile/Scrum methodologies is desirable
- Familiarity with development in WSL and Linux environments is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain robust full-stack web applications utilizing the MongoDB/MySQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js stack
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to ensure effective integration with front-end elements
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver new functionalities
- Enhance applications for performance, reliability, scalability, and responsiveness across various browsers
- Produce clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and retrospectives
- Identify, debug, and resolve issues in a dynamic production setting
- Contribute to ongoing system enhancements and improvements
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to apply as appropriate
