Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Over 10 years of experience in product management, with 4-5 years in a senior leadership role (VP/Head of Product or equivalent).
- In-depth, hands-on expertise in Telecom Expense Management (TEM) is essential, along with a solid grasp of telecom environments, carrier ecosystems, billing frameworks, and end-user personas.
- Preferably, experience with leading TEM platforms (such as Tangoe, Calero, etc.) and firsthand exposure to telecom estate management, invoice auditing, and optimization processes.
- Established record of developing and scaling complex B2B SaaS platforms from an early-stage to growth phase.
- Experience in a zero-to-one or early-scale setting with significant ownership and limited initial resources.
- Thorough experience in utilizing AI technologies to enhance product features and drive efficiency.
- Strong comprehension of enterprise customer requirements across IT, finance, procurement, and operations.
- Experience in defining pricing models, packaging strategies, and SaaS monetization methods.
- Robust technical understanding and collaboration experience with engineering teams in agile setups.
- Familiarity with data-intensive platforms, including the ingestion and normalization of structured and unstructured data.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence.
- An entrepreneurial mindset characterized by high ownership, urgency, and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a next-generation TEM platform, transitioning from service-based delivery to a scalable SaaS and white-label offering.
- Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and functionalities that deliver substantial value to enterprise customers across IT, finance, and procurement sectors.
- Stay well-informed and leverage AI technologies (like machine learning, generative AI, agentic workflows, OCR/NLP, predictive analytics) to enrich platform intelligence and expedite product development.
- Convert complex business requirements into product requirements, user stories, and actionable technical execution plans; collaborate closely with engineering for successful sprint execution.
- Lead and expand a cross-functional team (Product, Design, Engineering, QA), with the capacity to quickly onboard new members as product demand increases.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to strategize go-to-market initiatives, pricing, packaging, and support for deals across direct and partner/white-label channels.
- Engage with customers to collect feedback, validate product direction, and enhance the user experience; use both formal and informal feedback loops to inform developments.
- Advocate for product excellence in areas like UX/UI design, platform architecture, scalability, and multi-tenant capabilities.
- Develop and refine product processes, governance, and documentation as the organization grows.
- Oversee key product metrics including adoption rates, retention, revenue impact, and customer satisfaction levels.
- Serve as a prominent leader and representative of the product, both internally and externally.
- Act as a player-coach, remaining actively involved while nurturing and developing the product team.
- Identify and assess opportunities for expansion into related cost management sectors over time.
