Requirements

Must:
- A CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 certification is advantageous. - Experience with multi-location settings, particularly in warehouses, is a plus. - Over 5 years of experience in IT support (help desk, desktop, or systems support). - Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN/VPN). - Familiarity with switches, routers, and/or firewalls is beneficial (we are in the process of upgrading our legacy HP switches to Unify and currently use Fortigate firewalls). - Practical experience with Jitbit or similar ticketing systems is required. - Proficient in Microsoft products (O365, AD, EntraID, Win11, etc.) is essential. - Experience with PDQ or other IT Asset Management/Inventory Management solutions is necessary. - Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service abilities. - Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. - A valid California driver's license and dependable transportation are necessary (for local site visits as needed). - Site locations are in Southern California and Arizona. Mileage, hotel accommodations, etc., will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other network-connected hardware. - Manage user accounts, security groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin Center. - Address standard service requests (e.g., password resets, email setup, printer installation, file share access). - Document troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, and essential notes for internal reference. - Assist with new hardware rollouts, imaging, and software installations. - Support meetings and video conferencing with multimedia setup (Teams, projectors, conference hardware). - Maintain accurate ticket logs and ensure timely, customer-oriented communication. - Collaborate with the IT team on ongoing improvement initiatives and system updates.

Description


We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Tier 2 Help Desk Technician to join our IT team at our Sun Valley headquarters. This role involves supporting day-to-day technical operations and ensuring our employees have dependable access to the systems, applications, and networks they rely on. You will manage both Tier 1 and Tier 2 requests, handling everything from password resets and printer troubleshooting to diagnosing network problems, supporting Microsoft 365, and assisting with VPN and other network functions. Additionally, you will help document processes and closely collaborate with our Systems Administrator and IT Manager. The schedule for the first 90 days will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. After that period, the hours will shift to Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 7 AM to 4 PM. Our compensation typically ranges from $25 to $32.50 per hour, depending on experience.
