IT Support Specialist - Tech Troubleshooting

- Troubleshoot and resolve computer, printer, network, and telephone issues reported by staff - Communicate effectively and professionally during troubleshooting processes - Learn and become skilled in our ERP system – Prophet 21 – along with other tools including email and web portals - Provide support for Prophet 21 and associated systems - Address service outages or issues related to systems and networks - Administer a virtualized Active Directory environment, including all necessary components like GPO, DNS, and DHCP - Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords - Develop, implement, and coordinate documentation for policies and procedures - Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade internal networks and firewall systems - Set up and manage VPN connections and related policies - Ensure network security implementation and compliance - Monitor and evaluate network performance metrics such as availability and throughput - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IP phone and camera systems - Assist with various IT department tasks as needed - Occasional travel to different locations across Canada - Continuously seek knowledge through training and seminars - Adhere to the companys evolving strategies and policies as well as relevant laws and regulations - Perform additional tasks as reasonably requested within your capabilities and responsibilities
