Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years professional experience, or a related Masters degree with no prior experience required.
- Proficient in using system modeling tools to address systems engineering challenges (such as Rhapsody, MagicDraw, or similar).
- Capable of deriving, managing, and verifying system requirements.
- Experience working on an Agile software development team.
- Skilled in breaking down high-level system architectures and requirement specifications into Agile user stories and tasks.
- Solid understanding of Modeling and Simulation (M&S).
- Familiar with MBSE activities and their execution, particularly using tools like Rhapsody.
- Knowledgeable in DOORS for requirements management.
- Competent with Linux/Unix command line and environment.
- Experience engaging with government customers and stakeholders to establish clear capability definitions.
- Creative problem-solver focused on finding innovative solutions to existing issues.
- Proven ability to collaborate and foster consensus within a team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements, operations documents, and high-level system architectures to create system requirements specifications.
- Lead the design and development efforts based on analyzed system requirements.
- Assist users in formulating requirements and provide guidance on alternative solutions while conducting feasibility assessments.
- Offer technical leadership in integrating requirements with design and technology.
- Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operational processes.
- Prepare and develop technical documentation for various aspects of the project.
- Create system architecture and design documentation as needed.
- Facilitate system development and implementation planning by assessing or preparing management plans and integration/test plans.
- Collaborate with government entities regarding technical aspects of Systems Engineering and resolve associated challenges or conflicts.
