Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Science with at least 7 years of experience, or a Masters degree with 5 years of experience, or 9 years of experience without a degree.
- Proficient with Linux Command Line Interface.
- Skilled in Bash and Python scripting.
- Experience in developing Java applications within a Linux setting.
- Knowledge of the Spring framework and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with processing Big Data and system design.
- Understanding of web development, including HTTP and RESTful services.
- Experience with NoSQL technologies like Elasticsearch and Accumulo.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Desired experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence).
- Proven skills in using Git for version control.
- Familiarity with test-driven development practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain an end-to-end Big Data processing platform.
- Provide downstream systems with aggregated analytical results.
- Enable end-users to query, visualize, and analyze event data from diverse sources.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance system functionality.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to the platform.
- Ensure high-quality code through continuous testing and integration practices.
