Requirements
Must:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Experience: At least 2 years in security operations, network security, or incident response.
- Certifications (Preferred): Security+, CEH, CySA+, GSEC, or equivalent.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
- Knowledgeable in firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and forensic tools.
- Familiar with log analysis, malware detection, and threat intelligence.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to investigate security incidents.
- Communication Skills: Capable of reporting security risks and findings to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 80%.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor security logs, SIEM alerts, and network traffic for potential threats.
- Analyze security events and escalate incidents based on their severity and impact.
- Investigate potential breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Assist in incident response, containment, and remediation efforts.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve security vulnerabilities and strengthen system defenses.
- Research emerging threats and attack methods to proactively enhance our defenses.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.).
- Support audits and document security measures and procedures.
- Develop and implement security awareness training to prevent phishing and social engineering attacks.
- Maintain and properly configure SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, and other security tools.
- Document security incidents, analysis results, and remediation actions.
- Recommend enhancements for our security infrastructure and best practices.
