Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, electronics, computer science, or a relevant technical discipline. - Demonstrated experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Product Support Engineer, or similar roles within the smart home or consumer electronics sector. - Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with both hardware and software components. - A comprehensive understanding of smart home devices, IoT protocols, networking, and mobile applications. - Skilled in documenting technical issues and effectively conveying complex technical information in English. - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product Management, and Customer Support. - Self-driven, highly organized, capable of working autonomously and managing technical challenges to resolution.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the technical authority for escalated customer support cases, analyzing, reproducing, and resolving intricate hardware and software challenges. - Perform thorough root cause analysis and formulate solutions or workarounds for technical issues raised by users. - Work closely with R&D to report user concerns and actively engage in enhancing hardware and software products. - Record troubleshooting procedures, insights, and resolutions in a clear, structured, and detailed format. - Offer technical advice and training to customer service teams to improve overall support effectiveness. - Assist in beta testing initiatives by analyzing technical feedback and addressing challenges encountered by users during testing. - Directly communicate with users as necessary to collect further technical information, validate solutions, or showcase product fixes.
