Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in IT technical support, particularly in setting up laptops and managing POS systems
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline
- Strong problem-solving abilities for hardware and software issues, especially in retail environments
- Demonstrated capacity to provide in-person IT assistance through on-site visits
- Thorough understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, backups, and system updates
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various teams
- Experience managing user access and licensing for Office 365, Windows Active Directory, or equivalent systems
Responsibilities
- Oversee and upgrade servers and IT infrastructure
- Ensure consistent and reliable system backups while deploying updates
- Provide thorough IT support and troubleshoot issues across all company systems
- Travel to retail locations to assist with store-level IT infrastructure
- Maintain operational uptime and efficiency
- Use networking and retail hardware knowledge to identify and resolve on-site problems
- Define and implement strategic plans to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Coordinate with various departments to manage resources and timelines for project completion
- Verify application outcomes through targeted system audits
- Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard assets
- Keep an organized inventory of hardware, software, and end-user devices
- Manage user access and licensing for Office 365, Windows Active Directory, and other software
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, and application challenges
