Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in data networking
- Experience with firewalls and routers is mandatory
- Basic understanding of port forwarding, 1:1 NAT, and critical security features of firewalls
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki or similar firewall technologies
- Preferred CCNA certification or equivalent experience; Meraki certification is advantageous
- At least 1 year of experience in Telecom or Enterprise Network Engineering is preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with field technicians and end-clients to deploy managed Cisco Meraki equipment including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
- Assess customer data network design requirements
- Adhere to engineering process guidelines for network engineering and ensure proper documentation and communication
- Maintain a solid understanding of network operations
- Effectively communicate with field staff, customers, and project managers
- Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and fill knowledge gaps
