Requirements
Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- I have accumulated eight (8) years of experience in programming interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) and computer-based training (CBT).
- I am acquainted with various Learning Management Systems.
- I possess proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, ActionScript, Dreamweaver, and Captivate development tools.
- I have experience with XML, HTML, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript programming.
- I am familiar with development tools such as Apache, PHP, Perl, SQL, Open GL, and Unity CourseMill.
- I demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- I have experience in developing mobile learning content and applications.
- I am knowledgeable in SCORM and xAPI (as well as Learning Record Stores).
- I have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance (generally, U.S. Citizenship is required).
- I understand that I must obtain and ensure the maintenance of any necessary security access and/or background checks.
Responsibilities
- I support the design team in the effective creation of computer-based training products resulting from the team's instructional system design.
- I update, design, develop, produce, and integrate computer-based courseware, incorporating interactive elements such as graphics, pre-rendered images, audio, video, and text, including animations for interactive multimedia instruction and CBT.
- I work collaboratively in a team to plan, design, develop, test, and document up to Level IV interactive multimedia instruction.
- I implement effective software while adhering to instructional design requirements and constraints.
- I use storyboards and models to craft the software development strategy.
- I interpret technical documentation and collaborate with instructional systems designers, modelers, and multimedia specialists to create precise and effective CBT.
- I develop graphics, animations, textures, pre-rendered images, audio, and text to be integrated into interactive training solutions.
- I identify gaps through interviewing and observing instructors provided by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and ensure these gaps are addressed.
- I update and/or modify curriculum and self-paced training products.
- I maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- I perform other tasks as assigned.
Description
- I may act as a technical lead and/or lead working group. - My work schedule is full-time, and I may be required to work additional hours as necessary to finish assignments or projects. - There is potential for travel, and when required, I will need to complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check. - I must possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable under the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving may be necessary for travel related to training and occasional local trips, with expected driving time being less than 25%. - My work environment is hybrid; I will work both remotely and in an office located in Pensacola, FL. I will interact with a diverse range of individuals with varying functions, personalities, and abilities. - I experience frequent sitting, use of hands/fingers, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, occasional walking or standing, and occasional lifting of items weighing up to 20 lbs.
