Requirements
Must:
- 2-4 years of experience in Windows system administration or development
- Basic knowledge of Windows security, certificate management, and cloud services like Azure or AWS
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell or Perl
- Availability to participate in a 24/7 support model with rotating on-call responsibilities
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
- Familiarity with Linux systems and commands is a plus
- Relevant certifications in digital payments or IT support (e.g., Plastic certification, ITIL) are advantageous
- Experience with Agile or Lean development methodologies is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Assist in configuring and managing Windows environments, including implementing necessary system changes
- Take part in a rotating on-call schedule to address issues impacting financial institutions and digital payment services
- Develop scripts to monitor applications and establish alerts to notify teams of potential problems
- Contribute to ongoing projects by collecting information, providing feedback, and ensuring system readiness for production
- Support system maintenance and address support requests from other teams
- Collaborate with release managers to plan and assess changes prior to deployment
- Help install updates and patches while confirming system functionality post-implementation
- Document issues and work collaboratively with teams to identify and resolve root causes
Description
We are seeking a Windows System Administrator to join our team in Omaha, NE (with onsite responsibilities five days a week). We offer a competitive salary ranging from $55 to $60 per hour, with the position being contract-to-hire. In this role, youll be essential in maintaining and troubleshooting services that support digital card provisioning across various platforms.
