Requirements
Must:
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles, mobile interaction styles, and component-based design
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in contemporary design tools like Figma and familiar with InVision, Jira, Confluence, and user testing platforms
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, including mobile applications and responsive web environments
- Capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional groups, including engineering and product teams
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Ability to accept guidance, iterate based on feedback, and work both jointly and independently
- Interest or experience with AI-assisted design tools and modern prototyping methods is advantageous
- Basic understanding of component-based development concepts (e.g., React or React Native), no coding required
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating user experience and user interface designs for mobile applications, websites, and other digital platforms under the direction of a design lead
- Support the development of mobile-first user journeys, screens, and UI components specific to mortgage and financial services products
- Convert UX flows, requirements, and product specifications into polished UI designs and prototypes
- Collaborate with the design team to build and maintain reusable design assets, components, and patterns
- Follow brand and accessibility guidelines to design layouts that enhance clarity, trust, and consistency across all digital interfaces
- Engage in data-driven enhancements by analyzing performance metrics, usability research, and feedback to refine UI elements
- Work closely with designers, developers, product owners, copywriters, and stakeholders to address complex visual and interaction challenges
- Coordinate with developers to ensure designs fit with mobile and component-based implementations and assist during design transitions
- Maintain a strong focus on accessibility, responsiveness, and usability standards, especially for mobile initiatives
- Contribute to improvements that enhance efficiency and consistency in the design and product organization
- Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality
