Requirements
Must:
- 4+ years of experience in conversation design, product design, or UX design.
- Proven capability to handle moderately complex design tasks independently.
- Expertise in professional UX and design tools for research, prototyping, and documentation.
- Portfolio or website showcasing relevant work samples must be submitted with the application.
- Strong understanding of product design principles and methodologies.
- High-quality design craftsmanship and strong visual sensibility.
- Knowledge of systems thinking and understanding of user behavior and psychology.
- Familiarity with the product development lifecycle.
- Competence in storytelling and design communication techniques.
- Skills in presentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with UX research methods and usability testing.
- Ability to analyze data and synthesize insights for planning purposes.
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, including wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and models to assist with product ideation, usability testing, and research.
- Conduct user research independently to guide design choices.
- Play a role in maintaining a cohesive design process, incorporating shared design systems and visual languages across teams and products.
- Assist in validating designs and managing testing processes for stakeholder alignment.
- Create innovative solutions that fulfill user needs, product requirements, and business objectives.
- Adapt to changing project constraints and effectively communicate the reasoning behind design choices.
- Use UX frameworks and interaction patterns to craft user-friendly, scalable experiences.
- Utilize design and documentation tools to visualize concepts and produce deliverables tailored to platform needs.
- Adhere to established design templates, style guides, and accessibility guidelines.
- Refine design solutions according to usability testing, data insights, and feedback from partners or stakeholders.
- Offer constructive critique and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design outcomes align with product goals.
- Articulate design strategies to team members and cross-functional collaborators, highlighting any challenges and assumptions.
- Suggest relevant metrics to assess product impact and user experiences.
- Maintain awareness of the broader product ecosystem and industry trends through teamwork.
- Plan and prioritize design tasks across various initiatives, clearly communicating these priorities.
- Work closely with engineers to guarantee that design intent is fully understood and accurately executed.
- Create and maintain design specifications and documentation needed for development.
- Employ user insights, business objectives, and industry trends in design solutions to meet organizational goals.
- Anticipate user needs and define challenges that may require multiple strategic or technical solutions.
