Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline. - Over 6 years of experience in aerospace or defense test engineering. - Active TS Security Clearance with SCI eligibility. - FAA Class III medical certificate, with the capacity to complete Altitude Chamber training. - Practical experience with RF and electronic testing equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, multi-meters, data acquisition units, and a variety of transducers and accelerometers. - Understanding of aircraft avionics systems, their architectures, and integration processes. - Capability to interpret schematics, service manuals, and employ logical troubleshooting methods. - Experience in formulating and executing ground and flight test plans and procedures. - Strong foundation in requirements management, including derivation, traceability, verification, and selloff. - Proficient technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Develop and sustain flight testing plans, procedures, and reports in alignment with program and customer specifications. - Assist with program-level testing planning, involving strategies, timelines, risk management, and resource allocation. - Conduct development, qualification, and flight testing activities for aircraft mission systems and avionics. - Utilize RF and electronic testing apparatus including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, multi-meters, data acquisition units, and assorted transducers and accelerometers. - Facilitate aircraft integration, subsystem verification, and investigate and resolve test anomalies. - Engage in Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Safety Review Boards, and evaluate post-test data. - Collaborate with systems engineering, avionics, software, and program management to ensure testing activities meet technical, cost, and scheduling goals. - Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers.
