Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a valid polygraph, requiring U.S. citizenship
- Over 3 years of relevant professional experience or a suitable combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with the Ansible software platform
- Experience with Terraform tools
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence applications
- Preferred: 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent educational background
- Preferred: Leadership or management experience in engineering projects or teams
- Preferred: Proficiency with DevSecOps tools such as Packer, Nessus, and Trivy
- Preferred: Experience working with AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, mutual TLS, cert-manager, Harbor, and Postgres
- Preferred: Competence in Shell and Python scripting
- Preferred: Background in working with Government clients
- Preferred: Active CompTIA Security+ certification
Responsibilities
- Implement modern DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, container deployments, and infrastructure as code to enhance integration and testing procedures
- Establish, configure, and manage secure testing environments using cloud-native and virtualized resources
- Foster continual improvements in integration and testing methodologies by applying automation, metrics, and acquired insights for increased efficiency and dependability
- Automate, develop, monitor, refine, and resolve issues across various aspects of software engineering, including development, tools, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security safeguards
- Review, develop, document, and uphold system requirements and their traceability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders
