Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with UL891 OEM or similar
- Proficient in 2D & 3D CAD software (preferably Autodesk Suite)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Familiarity with UL891, UL67, UL508A, or UL1558 standards
- Ability to read and interpret the National Electric Code
- Experience in sizing conductors and overcurrent protective devices (OCPDs)
- Knowledge of control circuits and logic
- Experience mentoring junior Switchboard engineers
Responsibilities
- Design and develop switchboard systems
- Collaborate with team members on project specifications
- Utilize CAD software for creating layouts and designs
- Prepare and review documentation for projects
- Conduct analyses to ensure compliance with electrical standards
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical skills
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress
- Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions
