Requirements
Must:
- Advanced knowledge of wireless networking concepts (OSI Model, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Strong understanding of wireless industry specifications and standards (IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants)
- Experience in wireless network design and architecture, including protocols and topologies
- Familiarity with fundamental wireless network devices and appliances
- Proficiency in wireless network design software, such as Visio, along with Microsoft Office
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of relevant wireless networking experience
- Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP) certification
- Over 10 years of applicable specialized skills in the field
Responsibilities
- Engage in the planning and design of wireless network architectures
- Integrate and outline communication architectures, including hardware, software, and protocols for comprehensive wireless configurations
- Assess new products and address wireless network issues
- Develop and apply approved standard operating procedures
- Design and carry out enhancements for wireless networks, providing suggestions for improvements
